Therapy for the challenges you face—and the changes you want to make
Twin Cities-based online therapy for adults throughout Minnesota, Virginia, and Maryland
A place to begin
You don't have to be falling apart to benefit from therapy. Maybe you're used to holding it all together—capable and successful, but still feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from others. You may be navigating a transition, struggling with perfectionism or burnout despite doing all the “right” things, or noticing patterns in your relationships that you want to better understand.
At North Haven Therapy, I offer a supportive, collaborative space to explore what's happening beneath the surface, develop new ways of coping, and create meaningful change.
How I Can Help
Anxiety, Depression, & Burnout
Maybe you're feeling anxious and overwhelmed, having a hard time finding motivation, or just feeling worn down by everything on your plate. Therapy can help you make sense of what you're experiencing and figure out what might help.
Trauma
Difficult experiences can stay with us in ways we don't always recognize. We can take time to understand how those experiences may be affecting you today, work through them at a pace that feels comfortable, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Relationship Patterns
Maybe you find yourself having the same arguments, struggling to set boundaries, or putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own. Therapy can help you better understand what's happening in your relationships and explore ways to make them feel healthier and more fulfilling.
Life Transitions
Even changes that you choose can feel harder than expected. Whether something in your career, relationships, family, or sense of identity is shifting, therapy can give you space to sort through what you're feeling and figure out what's next.
Meet Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I’m a licensed professional counselor and the founder of North Haven Therapy.
I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2009, and I’ve learned that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Everyone brings their own story, challenges, and hopes for what might be different.
My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as you are, whether you know exactly what you’d like to work on or you’re still figuring that out. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
