Meet Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I'm a licensed professional counselor and the founder of North Haven Therapy.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also specialize in perinatal mental health, supporting people through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and the changes that come with parenthood.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity and trust. I believe in showing up as real humans in the therapy room, and I bring warmth, honesty, and a sense of humor to my work.
Outside of work, I'm a mom to three girls, which means most afternoons you'll find me running between sports practices and after-school activities. We recently added a boy to the family—Leo, our Labrador retriever. After spending the last 15 years moving around the U.S. and the world with the military, my family and I are happy to call Minnesota home.
Professional Background
My experience spans a variety of settings, including private practice, college counseling, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, and crisis services. I've also worked in programs supporting pregnant and parenting women and families.
Working with people at different stages of life and in very different circumstances has shaped how I approach my work today. I bring that experience to North Haven Therapy, where I focus on providing individualized care that reflects each person's needs and goals.
